I train and perform as an aerial artist. I have worked with the static trapeze, vertical rope, aerial fabric, doubles static trapeze, and several other forms of aerial apparatus. For the past couple of years, I've been working blindfolded on a single-point (spinning) trapeze. I can also juggle, spin staff, and do basic acrobatics.

I began studying with with Aimeé Hancock at the Circus Center in San Francisco in the Spring of 2000. More recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to work with Terry Sendgraff at her studio in Berkeley. Terry pioneered the idea of "aerial dance" and has had a profound impact on the way I understand performance and creativity. Terry retired in the Spring of 2005.

In the Fall of 2005 I moved to Brattleboro, Vermont, to train full time with Elsie and Serenity at their new school, Nimble Arts. My goal is to strengthen my skills and to create a couple of solid performance pieces. I am hoping to create something that is emotionally evocative and weaves together Terry's creative approach with more acrobatic circus skills.
