While I was in school, a friend asked me to model in her line for the annual student fashion show. I did, and had so much fun that I decided to do my own line for the show the following year. I learned to sew with the help of a couple generous friends, and have been enjoying designing and making clothes and costumes since then.

I like doing original designs, both for myself and for other people. Some of my non-original characters are "cosplay", which means they are from Japanese anime, comics, or video games. AJ is responsible for teaching me to use my costuming for cosplay purposes, and through her I've met several new interesting people.

Designing costumes is also extremely useful for when I am working an aerial performance piece.
