Résumé in Microsoft Word format.
MarinaLuna.net. Marina Luna is a Vermont-based aerial artist and circus performer. The minimalist site design focuses on images of Marina's aerial work. This PHP-driven site dynamically assembles content blocks into the final page.
Flash Animation: Puzzle Pirates iPod. I created this Puzzle Pirates spoof of an iPod commercial in Flash for the second Puzzle Pirates YouTube video contest. This video was awarded a prize for "Best Art."
Flash Animation: Scooby Doo Pirates. The first Puzzle Pirates video contest was to spoof the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 2 with Puzzle Pirates elements. I decided to spoof both with Scooby Doo elements. This entry won second place in that contest.

With the Brattleboro Tech Collective... I worked with the Brattleboro Tech Collective with several design projects. The Tech Collective has its own Content Management System (CMS), and much of my work with them involved taking the designs for existing sites, rewriting the HTML to use CSS and be standards-compliant, and then turning the resulting HTML and CSS into templates for the CSS to use when dynamically generating pages. I also worked with graphics and UI elements. Specific projects are listed below. Post Oil Solutions is a community organization that wanted a blog-style site for public awareness and events listings. I made the original design and some logo suggestions, although the group eventually designed their own logo. Visit their user-edited site: postoilsolutions.org
North Quabbin Woods transitioned from individual static pages to a dynamic site controlled by the Tech Collective's CMS. I was responsible for re-writing their heavily tables-dependent layout in standards-compliant HTML and CSS. I also converted that layout into templates for the CMS. I also re-worked the site to replace image-based headers with text (which could be created dynamically by the CMS). Visit the site: northquabbinwoods.org Other sites include Pelham Auto (CMS implementation, some graphics) and the Center for Health and Learning (styled trainings application to match the rest of the site). Finally, I also helped the Tech Collective create teaching materials, including an online web applications development course and a sample Ruby on Rails application and presentation. |
